Back in 2015, I created a kickstarter for what I call my continuous album, Digital Realist Story Mode. Most new artists drop a mixtape or do a showcase for a modeling show. Me, I wanted to tell my story of how I became the Digital Realist while at the same time show how cinematic life can be through my eyes. I would be creating a music album and comic to explain it all.   I thought maybe I was reaching trying to reinvent the wheel. The first person to give me a chance was Sarah Gardiner who reached out to me through DeviantArt.

Let me be clear, I had NO unique drawing skills and only my talent in music. Only my vision to tell my story because I had nothing else to live for. Sadly, I barely raised any more money other than Sarah's and putting in my own money from my pocket was barely a scratch on the surface. After losing touch with most of my co-creators, I was left alone and worried that my ideas would never lift off the ground. Then Encephalon appeared and after a unique conversation with him, we agreed to do as much on our own as possible. I crunched numbers, I studied how to draw more accurately. I networked. I survived. Little by little, I made progress and every time I posted a fundraiser for Story Mode, Sarah would be right there with the first tithe. With a clearer understanding of budgeting money, I made each dollar and cent count even if it was just to keep in communication. We've been growing up in this. I wish there were a thousand Sarah's but like the song says, I'll never find another girl like you.
